Wildflower Wedding Inspiration in the North — Harrogate Hair & Makeup Artist

Every time I have the opportunity t to contribute to a shoot with the team from Unveiled Magazine, I know it ‘s be magical, but getting to part of the Wildflower shoot team was like getting a glimpse into the secret garden via the most beautiful stately venue of Ellingham Hall. The extraordinary Jane Beadnell brought her exquisite style and keen eye to capture the shoot. We all knew we were in the most capable hands.

Creating the makeup up look for this shoot was all about keeping the skin looking fresh, almost ethereal and the eyes light. The incredible collection of dress designs by Leigh Hetherington Bridal Wear had a feel of Boho sophistication and I wanted to honour that style. Contouring couldn’t be too structured or angular and I wanted to make the eye pop, but without using bold colours.

Many of my brides worry that if they choose a more subtle look it won’t show up on pictures, but I think what’s clear from the make up from this shoot is that you don’t necessarily have to choose a bold lip or eye colour that’s more than what you’re comfortable wearing.

This shoot was truly brought to life by the gorgeous florals by The Enchanted Florist. Meanwhile The Little Cakery perfectly captured the mood of the wildflower mood with their sweet creations.
